Details of a UK-wide tender of Google’s advertising and digital business which has been ongoing since early 2014 have been disclosed.
The review, described as ‘standard’, has been underway for some time.
Google confirmed that the review’s purpose is “to make sure that we are working with the right agencies to keep developing ideas for Google.”
UK incumbents on the account currently include Isobar, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Joint and Adam & Eve/DDB.
OMD currently works on the UK account for Google’s UK media planning and buying.
