Kew Gardens has appointed 999 Design to create the look and feel for their Summer Festival 2014.

Supported by GlaxoSmithKline, the festival runs from 24 May until 7 September and invites visitors to immerse themselves in nature’s healing sanctuary at Kew Gardens and experience the stimulating and transformative power of plants through a variety of activities, installations and workshops.

Kew Gardens head of marketing, Tina Houlton, said of the appointment: “We’re delighted to work with 999 Design on this project. With their fresh perspective and great design ideas we are confident that 999 Design will find the right advertising solution to convey what a great day out our summer festival is.”

Creative director at 999 Design, John Speight, added: “Not only is it great to be working with Kew Gardens, it is also a really exciting festival theme to help bring to life. Kew are continually evolving and looking for new and innovative ways to show audiences just how much plants matter – it’s an interesting challenge to be part of.”

999 Design was appointed to the account following a competitive pitch process.
