ASOS and Nike have teamed up to celebrate 27 years of the sports brand’s Air Max trainer by hosting the first shoppable Google+ Hangout.

On 26 March, or “Air Max Day,” users can both watch and shop from the Google Display Network, a platform which allows brands to place ads on websites that are relevant to consumers.

The Hangout will be hosted by Rebecca Dudley, MTV freelance stylist Natasha Wray and ASOS fashion editor Zeba Lowe, who will offer styling tips for wearing the Air Max.

A ‘spy cam’ will also be placed at ASOS's headquarters and will focus on the varying ways that ASOS staff and models wear rare Nike Air Max from their archive.

ASOS will also support the day through a series of promotions and competitions on all of its social channels including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

The hangout comes after the online retailer and search giant teamed up last December to dish out live style advice via Google Helpout, which allowed shoppers to tweet for an appointment using the #ASOSHelpout hashtag.
