With the first same-sex wedding in England and Wales to take place on 29 March, vodka brand Stoli has teamed with the PinkNews to create a celebratory cocktail.

The Happily Ever After cocktail includes Stoli vodka, grapefruit juice, crème de mure and other ingredients.

Stoli said: “We are proud to join PinkNews in the countdown to the first same-sex weddings to be conducted in England and Wales.”

The brand said that it was also proud to “join the LGBT community in the countdown” for the first same-sex wedding in England and Wales, adding: “We look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion on 29 March.”

PinkNews publisher Benjamin Cohen said: “PinkNews has covered every twist and turn on the journey towards same-sex marriage since our launch in 2005. Now that the politics is out of the way, this fantastic campaign allows our readers to celebrate the historic changes that our country is about to enjoy.

“The Stoli countdown is just one example of the native and integrated campaigns that PinkNews will be rolling out for high profile brands over the coming months as our advertisers move beyond traditional digital display and reach out to our loyal, engaged and affluent community of just shy of two million LGBT readers across the world.”
