BBC's Sport Relief aims to beat previous £50.4m total from 2012 with return of Only Fools and Horses

Sport Relief, which will culminate in a live show this evening, hopes to break the record total it set two years ago of £50.4m.

The live programme, which will air tonight from 7pm - 1am, will be hosted by Gary Linekar and Davina McCall and feature a special one-off return episode of Only Fools and Horses, with a guest appearance by David Beckham.

Also on the programme will be a celebrity edition of Mastermind, hosted by David Walliams, Andy Murray appearing in a Mock the Week Special and the premier of the England team’s World Cup 2014 song, a cover of Take That’s Greatest Day.

As part of this year’s activities, today will also see aspecial edition of The Sun released, guest edited by James Corden, who has interviewed Prime Minister David Cameron for the splash.
