Centrefold magazine partners with Nokia to shoot entire issue on mobile
Centrefold magazine, a large format fashion, art and design magazine has partnered with Nokia to shoot its entire 10th issue on the Lumia 1020.
For the collaboration, Centrefold commissioned nine photographers to shoot the magazine cover to cover.
The issue aims to celebrate emerging photographic and modelling talent with the theme of ‘Beyond’.
The images were shot around the world and include four unique covers featuring emerging models Sam Rollinson, Eliza Cummings, Lily McMenamy, and Zuzanna Bijoch.
Andrew G. Hobbs, centrefold founder and editor-in-chief said: “The question was this: what could nine contemporary photographers do with a smartphone? We gave them the Lumia 1020, the freedom to shoot anything, anywhere in the world.
It took them from the secluded beaches of Mexico, Inside the New York art scene, over to a rapidly changing China, Centrefold Issue 10 is their response.”
The magazine is set for release on 20 March in London with an exhibition featuring all nine of the photographers’ work alongside behind the scenes films.
