Dave picks up Red Bull franchise
UK TV broadcaster Dave has agreed a deal with Red Bull to broadcast an exclusive series on the Red Bull soapbox race.
The series will be broadcast in five episodes to be filmed in Lima, Paris, Seattle, Sofia and Turin.
It supplements Dave’s exisiting programming for Red Bull, which includes its Red Bull Cliff Diving strand and Red Bull X Fighters.
“The Red Bull franchise continues to build year on year on Dave, and following the excellent performance of the wacky soapbox race last summer, Dave viewers will relish the opportunity to see how competitors from around the globe tackle the even more testing tracks,” said Dave’s Steve North.
A pilot programme last year attracted more than half a million viewers.
