NHS Borders appoints Dog Digital to develop new responsive website

NHS Borders is set to update its new website after appointing Dog Digital as its web development partner following a two-stage tender process.

Dog Digital will work with the NHS team will the aim to ensure the site is more user led, with a modern and intuitive visual design.

Dr Sheena MacDonald, NHS Borders medical director, said: “We are delighted to be working with Dog Digital on this project. As the use of the internet and more modern technology becomes an increasingly important part of our communications strategy we look forward to developing an innovative website to serve the needs of our population”.

Dog Digital has previously handled web development for Scottish Enterprise, VisitScotland and Scottish Development International.

David Hamilton, commercial director at Dog Digital, has said: “We are very pleased to be working with NHS Borders to redesign this vital patient resource. The new responsive site we have planned will have important and potentially life-saving information to impart and we’re confident that our experience in delivering high-profile public sector projects will stand us in good stead to deliver a site fit for the needs of patients and staff at NHS Borders.”
