YouTube hit ‘Charlie Bit My Finger’ has been given a star-studded Hollywood makeover by director Christopher Nolan after being asked to produce a one-off post Oscars special edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

‘Bitman Begins’, starring Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth, takes its source inspiration from the most viewed user-generated viral video of all time, which has now racked up over half a billion views.

Howard Davies Carr, father of the You Tube stars Harry and Charlie who appeared in the 2007 original commented: "We have always loved seeing 'Charlie Bit Me' parodies. It is funny to see Hollywood looking at Charlie Bit Me when Harry and Charlie are going to be looking at Hollywood later in the year!”

“To know you have just been played by Chris and Liam Hemsworth with supporting actors Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep and directed by Christopher Nolan as you are packing your homework and tying your laces ready for school is probably an experience few will ever understand. Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel for making the video so much fun."
