Ann Summers has retained Propaganda to provide ongoing strategic marketing support, with the agency set to develop new campaigns and promote new product lines for the retailer.

The brief will see Propaganda handle strategic marketing advice and implementation, aligned to insights gathered during an initial brand discovery process.

Chief executive of Ann Summers, Jacqueline Gold, said: “We’ve been impressed with Propaganda’s passion for brand innovation and we’re excited to be working with them to help develop the business.”

Propaganda was originally appointed by Ann Summers in November 2013 to help the retailer ‘discover brand truths’, with this appointment following on from its advisements made after research.

Propaganda planning director, Julian Horberry said: “We’ve taken steps to embolden Ann Summer’s strengths and ensure that their messages are being communicated effectively to reach new customers, whilst identifying with their already loyal fan base. Through strategic insight and fantastic creative campaigns, we’ll be looking to further improve brand perception and increase the Ann Summers profile across all channels.”
