LG has unveiled the LG G Flex, a curved smartphone which it describes as its ‘most human phone ever’.

Created by SuperHeroes Amsterdam, the ad shows Dan celebrating his birthday over dinner, receiving a phone from his friends. The phone, however, is strangely human.

Rogier Vijverberg, creative director and founder of SuperHeroes, said: “Our mission is to bring out the superpower in anyone and anything. How awesome would it be if your phone could morph into your body? You would never drop it down the toilet again for a start. It really excites us to work with such brave innovators as LG, who are not afraid to challenge the realms of possibility.”

Lenneke Sigmond, marketing manager mobile at LG Electronics Benelux, added: “LG brings innovation with a wink and a smile. The LG G Flex’s amazing design and technology inspires everyone to think about what’s really coming next.”

As well as a curved screen, the LG G Flex features a ‘self-healing’ back cover.
