Every Friday we are inviting our readers to take part in a new creative contest that we are calling The Drum's Tight Briefs.

The premise is simple: we give you a topical advertising, branding or design challenge, and you have the rest of the day to scamp up a response. The entry that gets the most votes from our readers each week will be shortlisted in a special Tight Briefs category at this summer's Chip Shop Awards.

Today your challenge is to rebrand the Conservative Party (however you see fit).

The Tories this week revealed that they were planning to start promoting themselves as the workers' party to rid their image as guardians of the rich. But never mind what they think, now it's your turn to come up with what you think is an appropriate identity for them.

Be it a poster or an ad, the media is up to you. Just send your entry to tightbriefs@thedrum.com by midnight tonight to be in the running.

If you're looking for some inspiration, why don't you check out the top 10 from last week's challenge, which was to design a new currency for Scotland.
