People On The Move: TBWA appoints BBH's Stainer as CEO, Jonathan James goes to Silverbean, DC Thomson appoints Saldanha

TBWA London has appointed BBH's Richard Stainer as CEO. Pre Joslyn managing partner at BBH, Stainer concludes the agency's search for a replacement for Lindsey Evans who departed last year.

DC Thomson has appointed former head of brand extensions at Guardian News & Media Monisha Saldanha as brand director for Genes Reunited. Taking up the position in March, Saldanha will take on overall responsibility for brand positioning, developing and driving brand strategy.

DDB & Tribal Worldwide, Amsterdam has appointed Sandra Krstic to succeed Jacco ter Schegget as the agency’s co-CEO. Krstic, who joined the agency as deputy managing director a year ago, will continue to manage global clients including Heineken, TomTom and Adidas.

Former Mother executive producer Matt C. Minor had joined The House Worldwide in the newly created role of head of film and entertainment, effective immediately. Minor’s appointment follows account wins including Levi’s and Laurent Perrier and sees him tasked with bringing his production expertise to the communications network’s expanding client roster.

Silverbean, the digital marketing agency with offices in Newcastle and London, has appointed Jonathan James as digital director. In his new role, Jonathan will head up Silverbean’s London office, overseeing delivery of the agency’s range of SEO, PPC, CRO, affiliate marketing and online advertising services to clients in the capital.

Olivia Yabsley has been appointed director of marketing at Twofour Digital. On its digital agency front, Twofour has worked with Volkswagen, Audi, HSBC, BBC Worldwide and Olympian Tom Daley.

PR agency GolinHarris has appointed Neil Kleiner as head of social, where he will be responsible for developing and promoting The Bridge; the agency’s real time marketing proposition. Prior to Havas, Kleiner has held roles at Momentum Worldwide and Trinity Mirror.

Growth consultancy, FreshMinds, has appointed Andy Maher as chief operating officer, as the company looks to strengthen its insight, data and digital teams. Maher, who joins FreshMinds from Interbrand Asia where he served as COO, will be responsible for running the operations side of the business.

Gorkana Group has announced the appointment of Dermot Corrigan to chief commercial officer. The appointment follows those of Jeni Chapman, US managing director, and Myles Johnson, chief financial officer.

Jill Todd has joined Bauer Media Scotland from STV as sales director for Clyde 1 and Clyde 2 radio stations. Prior to her role as business development manager at STV, Todd spent time with GCAP and Emap as an account manager and served as a key account manager at GMG Radio.

Kathryn Gray has joined creative agency ODD from ITV to become its senior strategist. Gray will oversee the ongoing development of agency strategy and join after 18 months at ITV as senior program commissioning and marketing planner. Prior to her time at ITV, Gray took global strategic lead for the Financial Times and Nestlé Purina accounts at DDB London.
