Coca-Cola is expanding its beverage offering in the US with the introduction of a new frozen drink dubbed ‘Diet Coke Frost’ that will “keep Diet Coke fans chattering well past the winter months”.

The low-calorie product is billed as the first frozen drink in the brand's 31-year history.

Diet Coke Frost Cherry Slurpees exclusively hit 7-Eleven stores yesterday (26 February) with more flavours slated to roll out in the convenience store in the coming months.

Stuart Kronauge, general manager, sparkling beverages, Coca-Cola North America, said: "Exclusively partnering with 7-Eleven for the debut of Diet Coke Frost brings this innovation to people nationwide in a setting famous for delivering frozen perfection."

Other retailers across the US are also set to stock the new product in frozen carbonated beverage machines at the end of May.
