February 21, 2014 | 1 min read, which partners tradesmen with homeowners, has rolled out a £4m advertising campaign voiced by Phil Spencer, famed for presenting property programmes like Location, Location, Location and Secret Agent.

The campaign is set to roll out from 22 February and has been executed across TV channels including Channel 5 (sponsorship) and Sky News; national radio; and newspapers including The Sun and Sunday Times.

A series of three adverts – titled Electrician, Plumber and Painter – highlight that while nine out of 10 homeowners believe it is hard to find a good tradesman, allows homeowners to find a wide variety of consumer-rated tradesmen.

The new campaign marks a 40 per cent rise in the platform’s advertising spend from 2012, which director of brand and new business, Marek Mossakowski said aimed to help it “continue to deliver [the] ongoing objective of driving awareness of the Rated People brand to both homeowners and tradesmen.”

The campaign was developed in-house, directed and produced by Matteo Pizzarello, and will run on TV for an initial 15 week period.
