MEC appoints Vicki Ferris as head of affiliates

MEC has appointed Vicki Ferris to the role of head of affiliates, where she will manage accounts for clients such as EE, Lloyds Banking Group, Morrisons, Bupa and Nintendo.

Joining from iProspect, where she held the role of affiliate director, Ferris will npw be responsible for developing the agency’s affiliate offering, specifically in the context of other performance channels such as PPC and SEO.

She said: “I’m thrilled to have been offered the opportunity to lead the affiliates team at MEC and I’m looking forward to working with a fantastic range of clients. Affiliate marketing spend has reached record highs in recent years and I’m confident we can further expand MEC’s offering to reflect these developments.”

Ferris is set to report into Greg Shickle, head of performance Media at MEC, who said of the appointment: “Given how much affiliate marketing has changed over the years, it’s important for our clients to have people like Vicki on board who combine fantastic affiliate experience with an eye for new opportunities in other channels. I’m confident that the work she will be overseeing at MEC will be key for the growth of our clients’ business.”

At iProspect, Ferris was responsible for leading the iProspect affiliate, lead generation and CSE channels, and recommending strategy for key clients including Burberry, Asda, Santander and British Gas.
