Edward Snowden elected as rector for Glasgow University
Students at the University of Glasgow have appointed whistleblower Edward Snowden as student rector.Snowden was against cyclist Graeme Obree, author Alan Bissett and Scottish Episcopal clergyman Kelvin Holdsworth for the position, but received over double the votes of each of these candidates.The Glasgow University Students' Representative Council announced the results on Twitter.
