The City of Edinburgh to tender for 10-year diverse £50m 'advertising' contract

The City of Edinburgh has issued a £50m tender for a multitude of advertising services.

The tender does not make it clear whether one company is being sought or a framework will be put in place, although it does not split the diverse number of services into lots.

Services include advertising production, street furniture installment, internet services, advertising photography, video-tape production, bus stop shelter construction, advertising neon lights, stamps, catalogues, and manuals and even road signs and chemical toilets.

According to the tender advert, the value of the contact will be worth between £20,000,000 and £50,000,000 over the 10-year life of the contact, which will expire on 3 August 2024.

Entries for the tender will be accepted until 1 April.
