Neil Burrows joins Connect as business development director

Connect Advertising and Marketing has named Neil Burrows as its new business development director as part of the agency’s plans to expand its client base into the automotive and travel sectors.

Burrows has a predominantly automotive background, having served as head of marketing and PR at Audi UK; general manager, brand management and communications, at Nissan Europe; group marketing director at Goodyear Dunlop; and, most recently, group sales and marketing director at Paragon Automotive Group.

Antony Green, managing director at Connect, said that Burrows’ “experience speaks for itself, and we’re confident he’s the right individual to lead us forward into the next stage of our growth as a business.”

He added that the agency’s automotive and transport clients, which include Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley, MAN Truck & Bus, Goodyear Dunlop, Lafarge Tarmac, Birmingham Airport, Chiltern Railways and Baxi, will “benefit hugely from his experience in growing and repositioning big-name brands.”
