IPA appoints PHD's David Wilding as deputy chair of strategy group and reveals raft of new chairmen
The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), the trade body and professional institute for UK advertising and marketing, has announced a host of new appointments as it looks to drive forward its output across a range of industry sectors.
Wunderman’s Josette James has been named as customer experience chairman, Grey’s Leo Rayman will chair the strategy group while PHD’s David Wilding will serve as deputy.
Woolley Pau Gyro’s Ed Shorthose joins as health care group chair and Karmarama’s Lawrence Weber will be co-chair of the digital business group.
James said she was “excited and proud to be given the chair of the customer experience group”, while Weber commented: “There are some big questions around content, integrating digital skills into the traditional creative process and how to really innovate, that all agencies are asking themselves at the moment.
“We're hoping to come together and offer some answers not only to digital agencies but to the wider IPA community.”
All of the new group chairmen will help steer agendas and improve industry standards.
