SapientNitro client services director Gary Shannon moves to Tribal Worldwide, London

SapientNitro client services director Gary Shannon has joined Tribal Worldwide in the newly created role of managing partner.

Shannon takes up the role with immediate effect and will work alongside managing director Tom Roberts and executive creative director Simon Poett.

"Assembling an effective management team at any agency demands a careful blend of expertise, attitudes and experience. I believe that in Gary we have found the perfect person to complement the team and lead some of our most ambitious clients, while also playing an instrumental role in maintaining the levels of new business success we enjoyed in 2013," said Roberts of the appointment.

In his previous role Shannon led SapientNitro's global Unilever account and delivered the redesign of HSBC. Prior to joining SapientNitro in 2011 Shannon worked as digital account director at Proximity, working with P&G and Royal Mail. He has also spent time with Crayon and DMB&B.

Shannon commented: "All the ingredients are here at Tribal – a huge range of skill sets, fantastic work, true client partnerships and a culture where collaboration just happens naturally. As managing partner Shannon is tasked with working across Tribal Worldwide, London's key accounts such as O2, Morrisons, Diageo and Unilever.
