Kings Biltong, the nutrition brand set up by three ex-England rugby-playing brothers, has taken on a new look and feel as demand for healthy, protein-packed snacks grows.

Employing specialist brand development agency Robot Food Kings Biltong kicked its packaging into touch with a clean, confident look which features bolder, simplified branding, messaging and colourways to put quality, taste and provenance first.

Of the overhaul, Charlie Simpson-Daniel, director of Kings Biltong, said: “We wanted our brand to really do our biltong justice and drive the message home about our commitment to quality, taste and 100 per cent British ingredients. It was also important to emphasise our traditional values. Robot Food helped us realise our potential and we’re absolutely delighted with the results.”

Creative director at Robot Food, Simon Forster, added: “The ingredients for a really great brand were already there. These natural, 100 per cent British products are made to very high standards, and the rebrand celebrates this with proud, contemporary design which has a vintage sporting appeal.”

Kings Biltong is produced at the brothers' - Charlie, Mark and James Simpson-Daniel - North Yorkshire farm from their grass-fed British beef, with the high-protein, low-fat snacks looking to offer athletes an alternative to protein bars and other supplement snacks.
