Skype is set to collaborate with Victoria Beckham ahead of her Autumn/Winter New York Fashion Week show, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes view.

The Skype Collaboration Project with Beckham, which launched at the end of last month, will include the opportunity for fans to submit their questions to the fashion designer and former Spice Girl.

Fans will be able to ask the questions directly through a Skype video message, while also being able to see the preparations for the show by Beckham and her team.

Beckham said on Skype: “Technology and the extraordinary advances in communications have played a fundamental role in this transformation. They have altered the way the world understands and consumes fashion, and have forced the fashion industry – from tiny start-ups to the biggest global brands – to readdress its approach.

“These changes have brought with them a new generation of players: people and start-ups who are showing the traditional power brands new ways to operate and behave.”

Fans will also be able to sign up for regular Skype Collaboration Project emails.
