Regus has appointed UM to handle its global media account, which will include the creation of a global media communications plan across 100 countries.

The appointment of the IPG Mediabrands agency follows a competitive pitch process, and will see it work alongside the global workspace provider.

Sylvain Valeix, managing director of UM International, said that the agency was excited to work with Regus as it continued to grow in response to “fundamental changes” taking place and develop a plan which would reflect the ambition of the brand.

"As we enter a crucial stage in the development of our business, it was important for us to find a partner that we felt understood our vision and shared our passion for innovation. UM fit the bill on all levels, and we look forward to working with them over the coming months and years," added Rick Vlemmiks, chief marketing officer, Regus.

Regus works with global companies around the world such as GlaxoSmithKline, Toshiba and Google.
