Denise West appointed head of commercial at DC Thomson
Publishing house DC Thomson has named Denise West as head of commercial, commencing March 2014.
Formerly managing director at Trinity Mirror North, West will manage and develop commercial activities across DC Thomson’s newspaper business.
Ellis Watson, DC Thomson chief executive officer publishing, said, “I am thrilled that Denise is joining us as Head of Commercial working across our newspaper brands. Denise has worked in the newspaper business for many years across advertising, marketing and commercial and brings with her a great deal of experience. She’ll be an asset to our Newspaper management team.”
West has previously worked for Thomson Regional Newspapers, The Scotsman Publications and Scottish Daily Record. She left the company after 17 years to join DC Thomson.
