Absolute growth continues with appointment of Simon Allman as creative director
Absolute, the Bolton based integrated creative agency, has appointed Simon Allman as creative director.
Allman previously held the role of design director at Origin Creative in Manchester, working with clients such as the BBC, United Utilities, Henri-Lloyd, Brother and Manchester United.
Absolute’s recent rapid growth has seen a number of other new additions, with the appointment of Faye Hodgkiss as account manager, moving over from Manchester United, Shaun Barrio joining as front end developer and Melissa Fielding as office manager.
Chris Hodgen, managing director, Absolute said: “We made a strategic change to how the agency was structured four months ago, in both the creative direction and client management, and it has made a massive difference. We have a wide variety of exciting projects on the go from full rebrands to integrated campaigns, custom web developments, CGI animations and presentation packaging.
“We are continuing our growth plan and expect to announce another 3 new staff appointments in the coming weeks. We have taken the opportunity to realign our own brand strategy and are also currently investing heavily on redeveloping our 3,500 sq ft converted church studio space in Horwich.”
The agency is also currently negotiating with property developers in Central London to take over some substantial studio space as it looks to establish a presence in the capital as soon as April this year.
Simon Allman said: "This is the perfect time to join Absolute, given the growth potential of the agency. Even better, the main studio is based in my home town! I hope my experience can help Absolute build upon the quality work produced over the past few years and also help to nurture local creative talent."
