Rakuten Marketing appoints Jessica Joines as chief marketing officer

Rakuten Marketing has appointed Jessica Joines to the newly created role of chief marketing officer, as the company unveils its new omnichannel technology platform, Cadence.

Joines is founder and managing partner of the Digital Media Review (DMR), and has over 15 years’ experience in marketing.

In her new role, she will hold responsibility for Rakuten Marketing’s global marketing and public relations efforts.

Rakuten Marketing’s omnichannel platform Cadance will look to provide attribution analysis, such as how many times is a customer exposed to a message before making a purchase, what is the cost of customer acquisition, and what is the impact of combining marketing channels to increase revenue.
