Publicis has been appointed to brand Qatar’s Economic Zones Company, an organisation designed to attract business and investment to the state.

Appointment: Publicis has won the brief

Qatar began the development of three economic zones in and around the capital, Doha, in April last year. When the project is completed, the combined area of the three zones is expected to be 25 per cent bigger than Doha’s industrial area.

Faha Al Kaabi, CEO, Economic Zones Company (EZC), said: “Our vision is to support Qatar’s diversification strategy by becoming one of the region’s leading economic zones. Publicis impressed us with their understanding, global reach and expertise in this area.”

Publicis won the brief following a competitive pitch and will build the organisation’s brand around highlighting benefits of doing business in the Qatari zones in order to attract investment.
