BASES appoints The Media Group to stage 2014 conference

The Media Group, the Nottingham-based creative agency, has won a contract to produce and manage the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) Conference 2014.

The conference, which is to be staged at St. George’s Park in November, will provide insight, knowledge and experience to the international sport and exercise science industry.

Dr Claire Hitchings, executive officer at BASES, said: “After a comprehensive review of our annual conference, we want to improve our delegate experience and pack as much content and insight as we can into our two days at St. George’s Park. We’re delighted to be working with The Media Group and look forward to a successful conference.”

The Media Group won a competitive pitch to manage the event, adding to their strong portfolio of sports clients including The FA, The Institute of Groundsmen, the Sport and Recreation Alliance and the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust.
