Ryanair insists it’s ‘changing in 2014’ with weekly Twitter chats and new Irish ad
Ryanair has announced that it will be offering customers ‘a range of improvements in 2014’ as a new TV ad is set to air in Ireland. The ad was revealed yesterday, the same day as Ryanair’s Peter Bellew, head of sales and marketing, underwent his first in a series of weekly #AskRyanair Twitter chats. This isn’t the first time that Ryanair has tried a live Q&A: an attempt last year for customers to question CEO Michael O'Leary - or #GrillMOL as the hashtag suggested – did not go well, as seen by his 'Nice pic. Phwoaaarr' reply to one message. However, the company is looking to change its reputation, it seems, and has promised ‘even more customer improvements to come’.O'Leary insists in the ad: "We'll make your flight affordable, enjoyable and much more fun in 2014."Late 2013, Ryanair unveiled plans for a new website and app.
