Bridgestone appoints UM to handle media planning and buying throughout Europe

Tyre and rubber manufacturer Bridgestone has appointed UM to handle media planning and buying throughout Europe following a four-way pitch.

The agency was appointed based on a brief to increase brand awareness and develop online portal www.beeneverywhere.eu as a platform.

Jake Rønsholt, general manager, corporate and brand communications at Bridgestone Europe, said: “UM has shown great strategic and creative thinking throughout the entire process.

“As we continue to invest in building our brand, UM’s activation ideas and data intelligence skills will help us achieve our ambitious goals.”

The Europe-wide campaign will run across all media channels and UM London will handle the UK account.
