Apple aired a new TV ad for the iPad Air on Sunday, taking inspiration from Robin Williams' moving speech in the film ‘Dead Poets Society’.

The 90-second spot shows what the device is capable of doing, as Williams recites a Walt Whitman poem and asks: “What will your verse be?”

“Each of us has something to share. A voice, a passion, a perspective. The potential to add a stanza to the world’s story.

“We were so inspired by how people use iPad every day, we set out to capture a few of these moments,” said Apple on a dedicated ‘Your Verse' microsite, which highlights some of the stories from the ad.
