TBWA\Chiat\Day poaches Kyla Jacobs from CP+B to "spearhead" business drive for New York office

TBWA\Chiat\Day New York has appointed Kyla Jacobs as director of business development, reporting.

Jacobs has joined the agency from Crispin Porter + Bogusky (London), where she was director of business development in Europe. There, she she led winning European pitches for Coke Zero, Diesel, Ubisoft and Captain Morgan, and most recently, the global Turkish Airlines account.

She has been tasked with spearheading the new business drive for TBWA’s New York office, whose clients include Michelin, Jameson and GSK.

Jacobs will report directly to Robert Harwood-Matthews, president of TBWA\Chiat\Day New York. He said: “Kyla has incredible drive, energy and tenacity. She’s one of us and brings a great dynamic to the leadership team.”

Meanwhile Jacobs added: “TBWA has a great reputation across the globe for its creativity and culture. I’m excited to help create the next chapter with the New York team.”

Kyla’s appointment sees her return to the TBWA network, having previously worked at the Sydney-based WHYBIN\TBWA office.
