FullSix Group has named Hugh Baillie, former UK CEO of Ogilvy & Mather, as CEO of digital marketing agency Grand Union in the UK.

Baillie took control of the agency at the end of 2013, The Drum has learned, and has been tasked with growing the business, which was acquired by the group three years ago, taking over from founders Rob Forshaw and Matt Nicholls.

Marco Tinelli, founder of Fullsix, commented on the appointment: "We are thrilled that someone of Hugh’s stature is joining to take us to the next stage: the development of Fullsix/Grand Union as the pre-eminent marketing communications group in the UK through data, relationship marketing and media."

Baillie added: “Across Europe, Fullsix is already central to its clients’ business growth in the digital age. They lead the way in making agencies truly relevant to clients again. I am thrilled to be joining a strong UK base backed by a Group with huge ambition and potential to lead change in our industry.”

Baillie left Ogilvy & Mather after two-and-a-half years having previously held roles at Grey London and Saatchi and Saatchi.
