The National Accident Helpline has released its latest ad online ahead of its TV launch on 6 January.

The ad was created by The Gate and features Aardman Animations’ Underdog struggling to climb a mountain of legal books in order to make a claim. Joe Pasquale reprises his role as the voice of the Underdog and Brian Blessed continues as the “condescending corporate entity”.

Beth Powell, consumer director at National Accident Helpline, said: “Our decisions to release the advert online ahead of its television air-date is a first, but given the popularity of our previous adverts, we were keen to give our most engage consumers the chance to view it ahead of time.”

The ad was created to convey the organisation’s role in providing a service for vulnerable consumers taking on big business.
