Duracell has unveiled an online film, created by Grey, which pays homage to a traditional Christmas cartoon screened in Sweden at 3pm every Christmas Eve.

Written by Erik Uvhagen and Johan Leandersson, the film is shot in live action and ends with a surprising Duracell twist on the original story.

The original, Disney’s Santa’s Workshop, is watched by approximately five million of Sweden’s nine million population every Christmas Eve, according to Grey.
