Mentos, Mentos Gum, Fruittella and Smint to star in £1.8m London-based outdoor campaign this Christmas

Confectionery and gum manufacturer Perfetti Van Melle has worked with The Walker Agency to create a £1.8 million outdoor advertising campaign for its Mentos, Mentos Gum, Fruittella and Smint brands.

Comprising of bus sides, tube train ads and six sheets in tube station, the campaign launches today (Monday 16 December) and will run into next year, highlighting Perfetti Van Melle’s best-selling, core-ranges to consumers in the capital.

Mentos and Smint brand manager, Claire Powley, commented: “This is a huge campaign and following on from the successful summer TV campaign; the Mentos message will be to ‘Stay Fresh London’ throughout the busy December shopping period. For Smint, the London Underground ‘Fresh To Impress’ campaign will remind commuters about Smint's powerful, breath-freshening effect in its unique, convenient, one-at-a-time dispenser.”

David Leal, Fruittella brand manager, added: “Fruittella will be introducing the strapline ‘You can ‘tella’ it’s Fruittella’ for the first time on outdoor media, and with one in four London buses featuring a Fruittella or Mentos advertisement during this period, Londoners won’t be able to miss this campaign.”

The campaign will run across 32,000 locations in London.
