Fox News host declares both Santa and Jesus to be ‘verificably white’
America’s Fox News channel has been thrown into controversy once again after one of its anchors, Megyn Kelly, blurted out a confident assertion as to the race of a mythical character and historic figure.
Kelly informed shocked viewers that both Santa Claus and Jesus Christ were ‘verificably white’ during an edition of the Kelly File in which a segment discussing a more inclusive Santa for non-white Americans.
Commenting on the suggestion Kelly said: “Oh this is so ridiculous. Yet another person claiming it's racist to have a white Santa. You know?'
“And by the way, for all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white,' she added, 'but this person is just arguing that maybe we should also have a black Santa.
“Jesus was a white man, too. It's like we have, he's a historical figure that's a verifiable fact, as is Santa, I just want kids to know that,' said Kelly.
“How do you revise it in the middle of the legacy in the story and change Santa from white to black?”
