Betfred names Adele Lawton as head of online marketing

Former Playtech commercial director Adele Lawton has been named Betfred.com’s new head of online marketing.

Lawton has 15 years’ experience in the gaming sector and spent three years as head of Jackpotjoy before joining Paytech, as well as stints at BskyB, bet365 and Gala Coral. At Betfred.com, she will take over full control of the brand’s online and mobile business.

Lawton added: “Now is a perfect time to join Betred, who have demonstrated tremendous growth in recent years.

Betfred.com has moved up 12 places in the eGaming Review database EGR Power 50 from 42 to 30 this year, and plans to launch Betfred Australia in 2014.
