Glasgow Helicopter Crash - Twitter becomes centre for condolences and praise for public who tried to help
A Police Helicopter crash in Glasgow city centre last night has saw mourners and supporters turn to social media to offer their condolences and praise for the people of Glasgow and also appeal for blood to help those injured.Shortly after 10:30pm the twin-engined Eurocopter EC135 T2 came down on the roof of The Clutha in Glasgow’s Stockwell Street.Scottish Sun editor Gordon Smart witnessed the crash from the roof of a nearby multi-story car park and immediately tweeted the news.
