Writer, director, actor, composer, producer and star Chris Lilley has confirmed that his comedy creation Jonah, first seen in Summer Heights High, is to return in a series of his own.Lilley confirmed the news via Twitter after the BBC in the UK announced details of the show’s run in the UK.Lilley has carefully managed all the promotion for his prior series Angry Boys and Private School Girl via his own Twitter following, and the dedicated account for Ja’mie, @PrivateSchoolGirl.An official ‘Jonah From Tonga’ Facebook page launched yesterday and has gained over 57,000 likes at the time of publication.Rumours had circulated after a brief shot of Jonah preceded last week’s episode of Private School Girl, currently the most watched series on ABC’s iView.
