Tonight marks the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who, with Whovians everywhere celebrating. As well as being aired on BBC and being shown in cinemas, the episode is set to be broadcast simultaneously around the world in 84 countries. We take a look at five brands that have jumped on the Doctor Who bandwagon (Tardis?), including the Royal Mail and the Google doodle.

Google Doodle

Following a petition from over 4,000 fans for a Google Doodle to mark the occasion, engineers at Google designed a game where users can choose which of the 11 Time Lords they want to be and try to beat the Daleks as they travel between words.

Saucy Fish Co

The Saucy Fish Co has rebranded as “The Saucy Doctor Co.” on social media to correspond with the anniversary, and is promoting itself with the hashtag #SaucyDoctor.

Radio Times

Radio Times, which yesterday celebrated being voted having the cover of the century for its 'vote Dalek' design in 2005, has unveiled exclusive artwork from all 12 Doctor Who covers in one special scrolling panorama.

Royal Mail

The Royal Mail created special anniversary stamps that will travel though time (sort of) and space. There is a stamp for each of the 11 doctors, as well as ones for special adversaries, such as the Cybermen and the Daleks.

Monopoly

Monopoly has created a 50th anniversary board game, allowing fans the chance to exterminate their competition in a reworking of the board game.
