The Post Office has collaborated with Absolute Radio and Mindshare UK to launch an interactive digital campaign to help fly a loved one home for Christmas.

The campaign is set to run across Post Office and Absolute Radio’s online properties and social media channels and will encourage people to submit details of the country their loved one will be travelling from, a brief story of why they’d love to bring them home for Christmas, as well as providing an image of themselves with their chosen friend or relative.

Stewart Fox-Mills, head of marketing at the Post Office, said: “At the Post Office, we understand the pressures of modern-day life and this is why we are changing to meet these demands. Christmas is an exceptionally busy time for everyone and this competition brings to life another way we are taking steps to make things easier for millions of people across the UK this year. We’ve extended our opening hours in branches, will have more self-service machines, more staff in branch and have improved our Christmas online support, including Twitter helpers.”

Ten winners will be selected and invited live onto Christian O’Connell’s Breakfast Show and Geoff Lloyd’s Hometime Show on Absolute Radio to learn that they’ve won a flight home for their friend or loved one.

The Flying Home for Christmas campaign can be found on the Post Office Facebook page.
