More Th>n has appointed Vizeum to handle its media planning and buying account, believed to be worth around £13m, following a review earlier this year.

At the time of the pitch process, Hannah House, head of marketing communications at the insurance group, said it was “looking for a media partner with a strong understanding of the market and good financial services knowledge.”

The appointment of Vizeum has seen it become responsible for developing a media strategy to help More Th>n grow in the UK and “keep on top of changing consumer behaviours and media consumption.”

Incumbent Starcom MediaVest was involved in the pitch.

A spokeswoman from the company said: "We can confirm that we have appointed Vizeum to manage the More Th>n media planning and buying account, subject to contract."

A representative from Vizeum was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
