Cardiff Airport appoints Paula Morris as head of marketing and communications

Cardiff Airport has announced the appointment of Paula Morris as head of marketing and communications, where she will help build the brand and develop online presence.

In her new role, Morris will take the lead on all marketing activity, conducting targeted marketing campaigns and working on joint marketing and PR initiatives with airlines, tour operators, travel agents and retail partners.

She said: “I’m delighted to have joined the team at Cardiff Airport and couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to grow the business. This is a real chance to have a significant positive impact on Wales from a business, tourism and leisure perspective. I’m looking forward to working with the team to make Cardiff Airport a huge success.”

Most recently, Morris headed up Capital Law’s marketing and business development team, and has also has experience at multinational plcs.

She will report into Jon Horne, chief executive, who said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Paula to the team. Her cross sector background in retail, manufacturing, financial services and professional services will stand her in good stead to meet the challenge of this multi faceted role. I’m confident she will help us to deliver our exciting plans to make Cardiff Airport a destination of choice for the benefit of the Welsh economy, business and holiday makers.”

This comes in the same month as Cardiff Airport launched Wi-Fi availability in the main terminal building.
