James Ranson promoted to director of advertising sales UK at Future
Future has promoted James Ranson, advertising director within its London sales unit, to director of advertising sales UK
Ranson will now take on responsibility for the UK sales team, which will be extended to oversee the team in Bath, four years after joining from the sales team at Haymarket.
Mark Wood, CEO of Future, said: “Jim has changed the way our London team operates and made impressive progress in securing larger-scale content marketing partnerships alongside traditional ad sales. It now makes sense to integrate our UK ad teams and apply this valuable experience to the whole of the Future portfolio."
Since joining Future, Ranson has been ad sales director for T3, before becoming responsible for the whole of the company's Technology group. When promoted to advertising sales director for London, he restructured the business units in order to create a central agency team.
