Satellite TV service Freesat has launched #dramaface, an interactive TV reaction sharing platform.

Freesat worked with digital marketing agency eight&four for the platform, which allows viewers to upload and share their reaction to their favourite programmes, whether they’re shocked at The X Factor, sad during Downton Abbey or excited for Strictly.

Accessed by creating a log in or signing in through their Facebook or Twitter profile, TV fans can upload their selfie, associate it with the programme they’re watching, match their image with an emotion and include a short caption.

Paul Gilshan, Freesat marketing and communications director, said: “We’re having lots of fun with this one – the #dramaface selfies that have been coming in so far have been absolutely brilliant and it’s great to see so many telly lovers across the country getting involved.”

The #dramaface platform has competition planned for Doctor Who, The X Factor, Christmas as well as an on-going ‘#dramaface of the week’.
