Empty13 is set to hold its last event on 26 November, with Guardian’s chief commercial officer David Pemsel amongst the names confirmed for the content-focussed event.

Empty13 events have been taking place throughout the year, as marketers discuss what brands and agencies will communicate during the relatively quiet year, following a booming year of the Olympics and the Jubilee.

The upcoming event will be held the IAB in Covent Garden, focussing on content.

Confirmed speakers include Pemsel, the former ITV marketing director credited with turning the fortunes of the Guardian around; Tony Marchant, BAFTA Award-winning screenwriter, who will be talking about the importance of character development and story arcs in engaging consumers; and Adam Baker, founder of citizen journalism company Blottr which recently signed a deal with the New York Times.

Other names are set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
