Cheese brand Leerdammer has appointed Blast Radius Amsterdam to help it improve its social media engagement.

The appointment, which follows a European-wide pitch-process, will see Blast Radius tasked with developing new online platforms for the brand, with the aim of bringing it to life through engaging social content.

Jochem de Boer, global brand director of Leerdammer, said that the company was searching for an agency to help build the brand’s international reputation.

Stefan Hawes, CEO, Blast Radius Amsterdam, added: “Partnering with Leerdammer, a brand with such a strong signature and heritage, is a significant accomplishment and we are very proud to have been awarded this work. Supporting the brand on its journey into a new age of digital consumer engagement provides an exciting opportunity for Blast Radius Amsterdam, in what is set to be a remarkable period of transformation for the brand.”

The first work is due to roll-out in Germany in January, which will also include the release of a new website.
