Lady Gaga refutes claims that her bisexuality is merely a marketing ploy

Lady Gaga has moved to rebuff claims from critics that her highly publicised bisexuality is nothing more than a marketing stunt, by stating that it is not a lie.

The pop star spoke out during a question and answer session during her Artpop album launch in Berlin by stressing categorically: “You know what? It's not a lie that I am bisexual and I like women, and anyone that wants to twist this into 'she says she's bisexual for marketing,' this is a fucking lie. This is who I am and who I have always been."

The rebuttal followed a recent interview with Andy Cohen in which the singer admitted to ‘a few dips in the lady pond’.

Gaga has come under fire in recent days for a risque performance on The X Factor.
